What‘s in the Name?

The name Galleon.ph was adopted from Spanish trading ships called Manila Galleons, which came to the Philippines once or twice a year to bring back commodities during the 16th Century. Back in those days, the Filipinos traded their own produce for goods that were not available in the country. We have adopted this simple, yet innovative idea.

Galleon.ph is the brainchild of two young entrepreneurs who dreamt of creating a never before seen or heard of an e-commerce website in the Philippines. Galleon.ph was created to give the same kind of excitement that the Filipinos had when they first laid eyes on the Manila Galleons.

Please contact us immediately to check the status of your order and if still possible to change.

For those that have a price, we can process your order to be on the seller's wait list. Once available, it would automatically be shipped. Depending on the seller, we may be able to provide and estimated date of arrival of your item .

Payment must be fully paid or at least 50% down payment if order is more than ₱3,000. Cash on Delivery and Cash upon Pickup will not allowed for pre-orders.

The computation for the item price or SRP is system generated. It is based on the product weight, dimension, customs fees, duties and taxes as well as our service fees.

Yes, the Philippines has an exemption on customs fees for imported goods worth ₱10,000 and below. Galleon.ph already incorporates this into the pricing of all items.

You can try shipping items on your own, however, the problems usually are:

  • You can't track your item once it arrived in the Philippines.
  • Sometimes you will be the one who should pick up the item at the Post Office.
  • Item can be reassessed and can be charged duties, taxes, and customs fees.
  • Other unknown factors and unexpected problems.

If you choose Galleon.ph, you can rest easy knowing that your item/s will be safe and that payment will be final with no surprise fees or charges. You will be sent email progress updates of your order.

On top of that, we offer a 3-day return policy for incorrect, damaged, incomplete items.

We compute both international and local shipping fee of items individually to make our operations efficient. There would be times that your items may not be sent together. Waiting for it might cause delay, or worse, get lost.

The cost of shipping is based on the dimensions and weight of each individual item. We try our best to lower shipping cost down as much as possible.

  • Item is Heavy or bulky which increases shipping cost.

Standard delivery time will start once your order is purchased or processed, via AIR FREIGHT is 10-15 business days, while via SEA FREIGHT is 90 business days for orders to be delivered within Metro Manila (weekends and holidays are not included). For provincial orders, there will be additional 3 business days. Some items may have additional processing days depending on the supplier. In such a case, you will be informed and must confirm prior to order processing.

Provincial deliveries take an additional 3 business days and will incur additional shipping fees (usually minimal for small items)

For items with longer shipping times, we would first confirm with you will consider the additional business days.

Due to the holiday season, please anticipate an additional 5 business days on the delivery of your order. Rest assured that we will do our best to have your order arrive on time.

Yes, we do allow items delivered to your preferred LBC branch pick-up.

This option will be shown on the checkout page as you place your order. On step 2, Shipping Information, select Pickup at LBC Branch and fill out the required fields

Package must be retrieved within 5 days upon arrival on LBC branch. If you failed to pick-up the item, it will be returned to our office and you need to PAY another shipping fee before we ship it back.

Almost all items on Galleon.ph are currently sourced from the USA. International shipping is the shipping cost from USA to Philippines inclusive of duties, taxes and custom fees.

For orders worth ₱3,000 and above, we normally offer a 50% down payment before we can process order while the remaining 50% full payment has to be paid BEFORE delivery or UPON pickup.

Cash on Delivery (COD) is allowed on orders that does not exceed ₱10,000 for NCR and ₱5,000 for provincial address

We can, however, allow 50% down payment for orders more than ₱3,000 and the 50% full payment be collected as COD. Please note that we will add an additional 3% for the transaction fee on the 50% full payment.

If paying by credit card, you may apply for installment options directly to the bank.

BPI payment is now under Dragonpay Channel. Alternately, you can use Instapay or PESONet service on BPI and send to our BDO account.

For BDO deposits, please be reminded that we are implementing one deposit slip per transaction policy. After each successful deposit, you have 2 options: Email the deposit slip at [email protected] or send it on our social media account.

For Dragonpay (Other Banks, Pawn shops, Malls, LBC, ECpay, etc), Credit/Debit card and Paypal, you do not need to do anything. It would be however appreciated if you can send or forward your proof of payment to [email protected].

Once payment has been confirmed, you will receive an email update on your Order that we have acknowledged your payment and will inform you of the next steps.

Yes, we do.

Sterling Galleon Corporation, is a service company. We can only issue a Billing Statement for the total amount paid AND an Official Receipt representing the service fee which comprises of 30% of the total amount.

An Acknowledgement Receipt comprised of the 70% of the total amount will also be provided.

Official Receipt will only be provided only upon FULL payment and complete delivery/pickup of items.

Product warranties can be claimed within regions indicated in the warranty. Products with International Warranty may be claimed in the Philippines if indicated in the scope of the warranty.

Product warranty may not be valid for the following:

  • Products with missing Serial Number or UPC
  • Products that have damaged packaging and/or document (proof of order/payment) missing.
  • For Non-Galleon items(items that have been purchased from other websites), a warranty may vary depending on the seller.

Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

All products sold on Galleon.ph are sourced from suppliers based in the USA and thus buyers should take into consideration the logistics process including the costs and delivery time of products to the Philippines. This is likewise applicable for the returned products that are to be shipped back to the suppliers or manufacturers in the USA.

Cancellation Policy

For orders with products that are unavailable (out of stock) or with additional shipping days, customer will have to confirm if he/she is willing to wait for the item to become available or confirm if extended delivery date is acceptable.. If not we will cancel the order and issue a 100% refund.

For miscalculated shipping costs, our Customer Care will contact you via phone call or email to check if customer would be willing to pay an additional amount for shipping. In case the customer refuses, the order will be canceled and we will process the full refund.

Regular and Custom Orders MAY be canceled in case a mistake is made in placing placing the order. If an item is not yet processed (ordered by our purchasing department, a Php 500 or 5% of Item Price (whichever is higher) will be charged as cancellation fee.

Please be reminded that the outlined terms should be followed strictly to avoid inconvenience. All products eligible for returns must be re-packed in its ORIGINAL, UNDAMAGED packaging together with complete accessories or, with any certificates (warranty, certificate of authenticity) or manuals. Loss or damage incurred during return shipment shall be the responsibility of the customers. Galleon.ph shall not be held liable for any claims as a result of these circumstances. Items should be shipped back to:

Non-Returnable Products

We DO NOT allow returns or refunds for the following conditions:

  • Products with missing Serial Number or UPC
  • Products that have damaged packaging and/or document (invoice, certificates) missing.
  • USED Items / Renewed Items / Refurbished Items.
  • For non-Galleon items, a warranty may vary depending on the seller.

For Non-Galleon items(items that have been purchased from other websites), a warranty may vary depending on the seller. We will try to negotiate with the seller to extend the warranty.

Refunds Policy

Refund amounts are payable for the following valid and verified conditions:

  • A full refund (product cost, shipping cost, and duty) for products that are damaged due to transit.
  • A full refund (product cost, shipping cost, and duty) for products that are malfunctioning or are dead on arrival.
  • The refund process will take 5-8 business days (holidays and weekends are not included).

Please note that all returned items will be assessed by our quality team before considering it as a valid refund.When deemed necessary, the company RESERVES THE RIGHT to reject any return or exchange.

Refund Procedure

For payments made via credit card, a refund will automatically be reversed and credited back into the credit card. This should reflect on the customer’s billing statement. Payments made over-the-counter will be deposited in the customer’s preferred bank.

Refund payment using LBC or Cebuana Lhuillier

Refund through LBC or Cebuana Lhuillier will require additional transaction fees. If you don't want to pay the transaction fee, send us an email at [email protected] with your bank details where we can deposit the refund.

Exchange

If the refund is verified and approved, only then that the customer can order for a replacement or exchange for the item that is bought. No refunds will be issued for exchange. Galleon.ph will shoulder product cost, shipping cost and duties for exchange or replacement items.

In the event that the product has international warranty, you can directly contact the supplier’s local service center for replacement/repair.

If the supplier does not provide international warranty, Galleon.ph will be able to ship the item back to the U.S.A. supplier and request for a replacement. Shipping charges will be shouldered by the customer. We will however help and assist the replacement or possible refund.

If the product reaches you in a defective state, you can request for a return or replacement of the product within 7 DAYS from when you received the item.

Within seven (7) calendar days of the date of purchase, a request for a return items purchased should be made.

This quick guide explains the importance of knowing the different voltage of various electronic products for sale in Galleon.ph. Generally, the electrical output in the US is 110V/60Hertz while in the Philippines, it is 220V/50Hertz. This means that products manufactured in the US does not match the voltage requirements here in the country and thus require the consumers to take extra measures.

Plugging a product to an incorrect voltage can seriously damage it (i.e. burn). While step-down transformer can be used to reduce the rate of electrical voltage, we cannot guarantee that the product will run efficiently. IT IS THE CUSTOMER’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE VOLTAGE RATING OF EACH PRODUCT BY VISITING THE MANUFACTURER’S WEBSITE. Galleon.ph will not take responsibility for any damages that may arise due to the aforementioned circumstances.

However, there are certain products that have dual voltage capacity. Check the manufacturer’s manual for instructions on how to set a device to a specific electrical voltage. Products that have 110V-240V 60Hz/50Hz power ratings can be plugged directly to the supply, as it is built to work within specific voltage/cycles.

Knowing this difference not only saves the device but can inevitably reduce the risk of accidents that may occur due to electric shock.
